Whether it’s on your desktop, laptop, iPad, or smart phone, Digital Clutter accumulates. It slows you down unless you make the time to keep it in check. Make sure you stay in front of what can quickly get overwhelming!
What To Do to Accomplish Reducing Digital Clutter
This week, delete unnecessary files, photos, and videos from all these devices, organize them in appropriate folders, and back up what you keep to an external hard drive and/or the cloud.
You’ll be surprised how much lighter you feel when you suddenly have extra space on all of your digital items. And you will have room for all of those new items that will come up!
The weekend is a good time to clean up the Car Clutter, inside and out. Toss out the trash and recycling, and take back into the house things that have accumulated.
Clear out the glove compartment, center console, side doors, seat pockets, and trunk of things that don’t belong. Then treat your car to a interior/exterior wash and vacuum. You will both look and feel better for it and you’ll soon have a car that looks like new!
And believe it or not, it’s much easier and less time consuming than you may think!

Grocery bags of all sorts become a wild mess in the cabinets. Soon they are stuffed between the cracks of the stove, wall, and refrigerator. Before you know it, Disposable Bags can take over your life!
What to do:
Not going to be 100% committed to using washable and reusable bags for the groceries (such as my favorite, compact ChicoBag)? It may be time to establish a dedicated space for the bags you do bring home. This way, they can be found and reused next time.
It’s easy to make sure you have these Disposable Bags in an easy area for your home, which will help you minimize clutter!
When was the last time you took a close look at expiration dates on cans, jars, and packages of food in your home? Clear out old, inedible and Expired Food by going through these areas this week:
• Kitchen cabinets
• Refrigerator
• Freezer
• Garage (or other area you store food)
• Emergency Food (be sure to replace immediately)
