This Walnut Creek, CA kids play room needed to be turned into a bedroom for a growing teen who once shared a room with his younger sibling.
Step One
The client called for a free consultation, and we were able to assess needs and make plans over the telephone. She arranged for the delivery of a new bed in time for our arrival. It needed to be assembled, so we brought the tools and equipment needed to put it together.
Step Two
The Bella Organizing team arrived and sorted toys, clothing, and homework piles. As usual, we discovered things that did not belong in the room and found a home for them elsewhere in the house (the composter and dishwasher.)
While the Bella team emptied the room and made everything fresh and clean, the client made much-needed decisions with the kids as to what toys to keep and donate.
The rug was no longer wanted so we rolled it up and put it into the garage to be stored. Other items were boxed and labeled for storage, giveaway to friends, and donation to a local charity.
Step Three
We assembled the new space-saving loft bed that would fit the existing homework desk underneath.
Step Four
Organizing and arranging. The younger siblings toys were arranged in his newly opened up space, and the teens music and sports equipment nicely housed on a storage rack inside the new bedroom. The contents of the desk was organized, school supplies refilled and contained in their own drawers and accessible spaces. Computer cords and wires were neatly tucked away and lighting was improved to make homework time a little easier on the eyes.
The result…
A newly organized personal space for a very happen teen.
