Our destination was on several acres of land along Rocky Creek, just a couple miles east of highway 1, that belonged to the family of one of the members of the drawing and painting group. The property is a landtrust, owned by 25 families for the past 85+ years. It’s the kind of trust where there’s an agreement not to ever sell, parcel, or develop the land, but rather use it for recreational purposes for ever and ever. Sounds good to me.
There’s a locked gate at the entrance, and a narrow dirt road to follow for a mile.
